The Stoeckli Demo Centre and incorporates three businesses: Southern Stöckli, representation of Stöckli Skis, snowport imports and Alpine tours. Stöckli Demo Centre (SDC) specializes in the importation and distribution of specialized ski products and equipment from around the world into Australia and New Zealand.

SDC runs ski tours to resorts around the world through our business Alpine Tours, with tours to Aspen and Jackson Hole currently running. Other destinations are always being looked at, especially for the adventurous skier who wants to try somewhere new, where the untouched snow is as important as immersing oneself in a different culture. India and Russia would be 2 exciting new destinations. The key people Richard Nevile and Matt Appleford share a keen passion for the sport of skiing and their goal is to provide the best service and top products to ensure the best possible experience on the snow. And to aid in the development of the ski industry and skiers.

Richard Nevile
The founder of Southern Stöckli and Stöckli Demo Centre has partnered with Matt to form a high service and knowledge based company for the use of equipment and service of Snowsports and Adventure. One of the key principles is to aid the development of young skiers and the Snowsports in Australia.

Matt Appleford
Matt is partner in the business and can be found most days during the Australian snow season working at the Stoeckli Demo Centre at Mount Hotham. He is a ski instructor by trade and enjoys getting out on the hill nearly everyday, especially on powder days. He uses all of the products found in the shop on a daily basis. Matt is a PSIA full cert instructor and has taught over 12 seasons around the world. He currently teaches at Telluride in Colorado during the Australian summer and part-time at Hotham.
